Thanksgiving Family Portrait

This is the first year I've but the tree up before Thanksgiving. Why is that a rule anyway?? In my opinion, it's all "the holidays" and digging out all those seasonal decorations is a lot of work. Why not enjoy it a little longer. This is also the first time we've tried to take a picture together in front of the tree as a familial unit. It sort of worked. Frannie couldn't keep her lips off her precious dad, and Bub was a bit lethargic. Apparently we were boring him what with the running back and forth to the camera and scrambling back to the tree about a dozen times before we got this so so shot. But life with the pups can be chaotic, so it wouldn't seem right if we were all perfectly posed. Life is good. Give thanks.
